We are pleased to share that our Tukang Project was recently awarded the WSH Safety and Health Award Recognition for Projects (SHARP) 2025. As we enter the final lap towards completing NESST Tukang Dormitory, the team remains focused on upholding the highest safety standards — ensuring a safe, secure, and dignified living environment for our future residents.
Partnering with SELECT Group, NESST hosted a lunch and food tasting session with 230 workers currently building the NESST Tukang Dormitory. We’re working hard to bring convenient, tasty, and affordable food options for our future residents. This initiative is part of our commitment to delivering a thoughtful and resident-centric living experience. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue shaping the food landscape at Tukang!
Tour of NESST Tukang Dormitory with Minister of State
The NESST team was honoured to host Minister of State Dinesh at the NESST Tukang Dormitory. The visit provided an opportunity to share more about NESST, our current progress in construction and highlight innovative design features that enhance comfort, safety, and liveability for our migrant residents. We appreciate MOS Dinesh’s support as NESST continues advancing worker liveability and health resilience across the industry.
Engage! - NESST’s Inaugural Employer Engagement Day
It was a pleasure meeting our pioneer batch of Employers at the inaugural NESST Employer Engagement Day – Engage! A big thank you to all participating Employers for your support and partnership. Together, we look forward to building a healthier, safer, and more productive workforce through our joint efforts at NESST Tukang Dormitory.
NESST is excited to welcome our commercial partner, Phan Nee, a well-established name in the industry, to provide a diverse range of fresh produce and offerings thoughtfully curated to suit our residents’ needs. This collaboration underscores our commitment to affordability and convenience, and will introduce several pilot initiatives at NESST Tukang, including “buy-per-need” portions, self-checkout kiosks, and a resident rewards system. Employers can reach out to us to learn more.
Moving Forward, Living Better
Since July 2025, NESST has onboarded multiple groups of residents as part of transitional housing arrangements at Sungei Tengah Lodge (STL). This marks an important step forward as we move closer to our future home at NESST Tukang dormitory. Our team was present at these onboarding sessions to greet our future residents and ensure smooth coordination. Special thanks for STL as well as valued employers for your support in this journey.
